Our

History

In February 1983, the Falls Area Christian Taskforce (F.A.C.T.) held an organization meeting to discuss ways to serve families in need in their community. One short month later, on March 3, 1983 our Food Pantry was opened! It was operated by the Waukesha County Technical Institute (now WCTC). Lincoln School, using the boys’ locker room, hosted the Pantry until late 1985. From there, the Pantry’s subsequent homes included:

  • Thomas Jefferson School (1985- 1990)
  • Valley View School (1990 – 1995)
  • St. Anthony Church (1995 -1996)
  • Hiawatha School (1996- 2011)

The Pantry moved to its current location in 2011 thanks to the generous support of the Village of Menomonee Falls and the School District.
